- What data is stored in a WiFi QR code?
- A WiFi QR code can store the network name, encryption type, password when one is used, and whether the network is hidden.
- Is my WiFi password uploaded?
- No. The WiFi QR code is generated locally in your browser. BaseToolbox does not upload or store the SSID, password, logo, or exported QR image.
- Can I create a WiFi QR code without a password?
- Yes. Choose the no-password option for an open network. Only use this for networks you intentionally want guests to join without a password.
- Does it support hidden WiFi networks?
- Yes. Enable the hidden network option so the generated QR code includes the hidden-network flag.
- Can I add a logo to a WiFi QR code?
- Yes. Upload a center image and use a higher error correction level so the QR code remains easier to scan after adding the logo.
- Can I edit the WiFi password after printing the QR code?
- No. This tool creates static QR codes. If the network name or password changes, generate and print a new WiFi QR code.
